Overview

The Sir Wilfrid Laurier ÌÇÐÄvlog»áÔ± Board (SWLSB) is the third-largest English school board in Québec, serving over 14,000 students across the Laval, Lanaudière, and Laurentides regions. Its territory spans more than 35,000 square kilometres and includes:

  • 27 elementary schools
  • 9 high schools
  • 4 Adult Education and Vocational Training centres

SWLSB also offers Business Training Services through Qualificaction.

Elementary Sector

All of our 27 elementary schools offer preschool to Grade 6 programs. Many of them also offer the Kindergarten for 4-year olds program which allows students to develop in an inclusive, rich and stimulating environment. All our elementary schools offer full-day preschool programs in English or French Immersion.

Secondary Sector

Our nine secondary schools provide an academic program of courses prescribed by the Ministère de l’Éducation du Québec (MEQ), leading to a Secondary ÌÇÐÄvlog»áÔ± Diploma. They also offer various programs that meet the needs of students, including two of our high schools offering ³§±è´Ç°ù³Ù-ɳٳܻå±ð²õ program certified by the MEQ.

Adult Education and Vocational Training Sector

We offer a variety of Adult Education and Vocational Training (AEVT) programs to support lifelong learning. Whether you’re looking to complete your high school education, learn a trade, or acquire new skills, our centres provide the training and support you need.

Our Vocational Training Centre, CDC Pont-Viau, offers many programs, as well as skilled trades through regional partnerships. Students can earn a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS), Attestation of Vocational Studies (AVS), or Skills Training Certificate (STC) to help them transition into the workforce.

We also offer construction vocational training in English at Construc Plus, a centre operated in partnership with Centre de service scolaire Mille-ÃŽles.

For Adult Education, CDC Vimont and CDC Lachute provide a personalized learning environment where students can complete their high school diploma, take prerequisite courses for CEGEP or vocational training, or learn French and English.
